YouTube will soon be closing partner applications.
The video giant is recruiting creators with at least 100k subscribers that wish to pass their experiences on to rising YouTubers.
Successful applicants will be directly employed by YouTube, and they'll be considered a point of contact to the company for whoever they mentor.
Partner manager responsibilities
The partner manager role comes with several roles and benefits. First and foremost, partners will be expected to meet with and chat to other creators, answering any questions regarding running a YouTube channel.
Partner managers will also help creators craft plans and organise their content schedules to get the most out of YouTube. They'll also provide advice and guidance on analytics, discovery and brand deals.
Not only this, but partners will also be invited to exclusive events and workshops hosted by YouTube.
Partner manager requirements
To become a partner manager, applicants must have at least 100k subscribers on YouTube and over 400,000 watch hours in the past 12 months. Their channel must also be free from community strikes and adhere to the company's advertiser-friendly guidelines.
