The idea for the VideoDays arose in 2010. Within the framework of the games fair "gamescom" Videocreator and viewers came together in one room at the Cologne exhibition grounds.

Only a few days before the event was organized and announced. Nevertheless, more than 400 fans were there to meet their YouTube stars personally. Since then, new and larger records have been set up annually.

In 2013, the VideoDays expanded into the neighboring LANXESS arena and were expanded by an event day in 2014. A short time later, in 2015, they were also carried out in Berlin for the first time.

On the first day, the ShowDay, the world-famous stage show takes place. In the center of CommunityDays, the second day, Meet & Greets will be on hand with the social media stars present as well as sponsor and partner activities. Meanwhile more than 21,000 fans from all over Germany are screaming and cheering the present stars in Cologne and the capital every year.
